Beads, bracelets and paper necklaces

There are a number of aid projects in Uganda, which produce beads, bracelets and necklaces made from recycled paper.

In 2014, 6 women from Palabek Lugwar were trained in a small project group to produce these beautiful paper necklaces themselves. For this purpose a paper cutting machine was purchased. A coach was invited from Kampala to train these women.

Our association buys these necklaces so that the women also earn a small income.

We sell these necklaces regionally on several occasions.

A very good example:

Our fellow colleagues from the Evangelical Academy voluntarily sell these necklaces in the Martin-Niemöller House. The demand is enormously high.

The florist "Blütenzauber" in Glashütten sells as well these necklaces for us.

With these proceeds, we can realize again and again smaller and larger projects on the campus of HOPE.
